Soft Gripper Base Part
OnRobot's new Soft Gripper is available with three interchangeable silicone cups to handle a wide range of irregular shapes and delicate items making it ideal for pick-and-place applications in the food and beverage industry, as well as other "clean" production applications such as cosmetics or the pharmaceutical, manufacturing and packaging industries. The Soft Gripper features OnRobot's revolutionary Quick Changer, a base unit and silicone cups in star or finger versions for greater flexibility. The Soft Gripper's silicone cups are dishwasher safe and comply with FDA 21 CFR (non-fatty foods) and EC 1935/2004 for use in the food industry. With a maximum load of 2.2 kg depending on the shape, softness and friction of the items to be handled, the gripping dimensions range from 11 mm to 118 mm, depending on the cap used.
